One moving part, opened by recognition
NoctoGate sits on the lane island beside the camera. When Core confirms the vehicle — a resident, a guest with a reservation, a plate with a paid session — the arm lifts. When it doesn't, the arm stays down and the intercom is a button away. The status light shows red while the lane is closed and green as it opens, so drivers aren't guessing.

What happens if the camera can't read a plate?
The arm stays down and the driver presses the intercom, which puts them through to your team with the lane's camera image already on screen. The event is recorded either way.
How fast is it, really?
The arm itself lifts in 0.6 seconds. From the plate being read to the arm being up is under two seconds in a gated lane — the figure we use for the whole transaction.
Can it work in a low underground garage?
Yes, with a folding arm. The straight arm reaches six metres for wide lanes; the folding arm is for ceilings that won't let a straight one rise.
